In Improvised Safety, The audience are invited to in any way they feel comfortable in interact with the wax sculpture placed in front of them. The sculpture is a tool for the user to with their body search for the feeling of safety and relaxation. To hold or to hug. The wax sculpture is a cast of my body in a resting position. The process becomes a way to investigate the translation of an emotion into an object. If that emotion that I experience when using the sculpture could be passed on to others while they are using it?
Together with the sculpture are two performative scores on opposites sides of the sculpture which works as encouragement for the viewer on how the interaction between them and the object may look like. Both as a visual and as a text notation.
